Passio - Passion
The term "passion" originates from the Latin word Passio, which means suffering or enduring.

In the 21st century, however, "passion" has been used to refer to a variety of ideas, such as
strong, uncontrollable emotions,
intense sexual love
an intense desire for something,
something that arouses passion.
Passion 一詞在21世紀已被濫用。在 Internet 查到的definition：
- 強烈而難以控制的情緒
- 強烈的性愛
- 強烈的渴望或熱情的東西
- 激起熱情的事情
But the true meaning of passion is being willing to suffer for something you truly love. It doesn't mean suffering for the sake of suffering, but rather, being willing to pay the price for something that is meaningful to you.
“激情”其實意味著受苦。實際上，這個詞是為了描述“基督的痛苦” “willing suffering of Christ”而創造的。
激情並不意味著為了痛苦的緣故而遭受痛苦; 反之,是意味著為自己的意願而受苦。
When we recognize our willingness to suffer for something, we can find our purpose in life. If our only source of happiness is passion, then it can be hard to keep going when faced with people who oppose us, or when we experience depression.
Passion is more than simply being excited about something; it's also about being ready to pay the price for it, even if it's painful.
儘管把激情定義為深奧或浪漫的愛情已經很流行，但真正的意義是願意為自己喜歡的東西而受苦。
當我們發現我們願意為此付出代價時，我們發現了我們人生的使命和目標。
如果激情只是讓你快樂的原因，那麼當它變得艱難時，當周遭的人冷嘲時，當你感到沮喪時。。。放棄似乎是理所當然的行為，對嗎？
真正的激情是 :
假若你需要為此而犧牲你也願意去做的事情。
即使它很痛苦，你仍然堅持，因為你知道他們會產生深遠的影響。
To find out what your passion is, ask yourself what you are willing to suffer for.
Don't just think about what makes you feel good or what excites you, but rather, consider the sacrifices and difficulties that come with it.
Everyone suffers, but if it's for something you are passionate about, then the suffering will feel worthwhile.

當我問你熱愛的是什麼，不要告訴我是什麼讓你感覺良好或什麼讓你興奮。
告訴我你願意為著你的passion 而願意承受怎樣的苦。

What are you passionate about, 也就是你願意為此投入多嘅努力及意志，這會帶來嘅苦澀與犧牲。

Stop, take a moment, and ask yourself:
what are you passionate about, and what are you willing to suffer for it?
